Procedure to Change TGA/Request for Release Letter

1. You need to write to your association( not by email, as email is without your signature) of your intention to leave the association. There is no need for you to state any reason/s to do so.

2. If you wish to join any tgas affiliated with mtgc, you need to have a release letter. No letter of release required if you are joining tgas not affiliated to mtgc. According to Motour regulation on renewal of tg badge Borang 4 (peraturan 8) no.3 - Satu salinan resit keahlian Persatuan Pemandu Pelancong yang bergabung dengan MTGC. As professional, i think we should not discuss on why members of MWTGC and Kelantan tga can renew their license even their association not affiliated to MTGC. Some of you may have a bad and sour comment on this but i would like to say if you were to keep on commenting the steps by motour your are 1. wasting your time 2. non professional comment that come together with bad language will only make you look as confuse as them. So start making professional and intelligent comment as we are professionals and we need to act like professional. We do not wish to make tgclub as a forum of anger or place to "lepas geram"

3. Along the process of getting release letter, some of you may face problems, as what me and 8 other tg from ( the name of the tga should not be mentioned in this club). I was called to attend monthly meeting to discuss my intention to leave the association( name not mention). I signed in as an observer but at the end the meeting change to hearing session. Just a reminder for those who will face this, you can chose not to answer any allegation or leave the meeting because if the tga (no name mention) want to make it as a hearing session they (no name mention) must write official letter to call for hearing and stated clearly of all the facts of the case.

4. Suggestion that after the expired of membership we are free to join any tgas. For example if your memberships expired Dec 09. You did not renew yor membership and by end of Jan 2010 you are no more member of any association. To join another tga you need a release letter. Which tga will issue you with the letter. According to mtgc rules you need to go back to your fomer tga. Any tga can only issue release letter to their member, so you need to pay membership to you fomer tga to become member than they will issue the letter. Again there's a confusion here but it's logical. Let's not discuss this further as it will make thing worse. So lets beat this system. You must plan your intention to change tga ahead. As you all know, the process of getting release letter will take at least 1-2 month. So do it 3 month before your membership expired. Now is July and if any of you who wish to do so, my advise is start writing to your tgas now!

For those who still in the dark about this issue or who are facing problems with your tga on this matter, you can call or email to me. This club is for us to share and care. As what i wrote in my last email on moving ahead, this club already reach maturity status. There are a lot of tg out there looking at us. Most of them look up towards us and there are also who criticized us. I look at it as a blessing to us. Lets change our attitude. Be more professional in posting comments. Do not mention names of any tgas or mtgc. They have their own job to do, we have ours. Prove to the industry that we are here to contribute and not a trouble makers. I'm going to be very proud if tg out there list us as their reference rather that refering us as a bunch of low mentality tg with all negative comment. As everybody is wrong and we are the only group which is right. Let us concentrate on helping and  educating our member. Insurance, latest update on tourism news, how we face difficult times(especially now) and other activities that can move us forward.
